The workshop “The Colours of the City” explores questions about resource-efficient and sustainable lifestyles in the city through the dyeing and design of fabrics using freely available waste or plant materials from Vienna. We invite you to join us on Friday 3 July from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm—in the shade of the summer lime tree (OKP courtyard) —to have a bite to eat and discuss urban heat islands and natural dyes. The fabrics, dyed using onion and avocado skins, avocado stones, and iron and aluminium acetate, will be on display for the duration of the festival in the car park in the OKP courtyard.
