Inspired by indigenous net-making techniques and DIY maker culture, participants explore the connection between knotting techniques, interior design, and social space. In addition to knotting, rigging, and weaving techniques, the course also covers basic woodworking for structural construction, with the goal of collaboratively creating suspended net installations in the teacher education program’s student studio. A collaboration between Philipp Reinsberg (Wood Workshop) & Manuel Wandl (Weaving Workshop)
