APL Open Stage

The Open Stage—a (self-)curated evening of performances, encounters, and calculated coincidences—has anchored itself at the APL Studio of the University of Applied Arts Vienna as a fixed social anchor point. During the Angewandte Festival, it now unfolds its ecstatic extension. Starting from the idea of living archives, the evening brings together process-based student contributions, performative situations, moving images, a film screening and manifold of social encounters. It’s open. It’s free. It’s yours.
